Stop the world, I need a rest
WOW! Did anyone get the number of that “Reunion Bus” which hit me during the last weekend. Was that unreal, real or surreal or a combination of all three. My mind is still spinning.
After a few 12 hour sleeps, I’m guessing this must be Sunday, and I appear to be home, but the brain is a couple of days behind and having trouble in catching up with the body.
That was one awesome reunion.
As Graham has mentioned in an email, we will have to produce a master list of contact details so that people can plan future travels so as to catch up with everyone on a more leisurely one-to-one basis. The time went so quickly.
A BIG THANKYOU to everyone who committed to the reunion and actually fronted up. We had a 100% turnout. That must have been one hell of a memorable experience we undertook some 35 years ago.
My special thanks to Marg and Barb for organising all the money, transport and accommodation details which greatly assisted in making the reunion run so smoothly. I’m already looking forward to the next reunion in Aotearoa (or was I dreaming that)! In the meantime I’ll put up some of the photos from the weekend, and ask that if you have any pictures which you would like to add to the blog please email them to me. Also if you have any thoughts or feelings about the reunion, either click on the comments or send me an email and I will publish here.
